Your lazy susan will turn on a heavy-duty 12" full race bearing. This new unique style is made possible by carefully sawing a thick disc, or cross section, of wood directly from the tree's trunk. This exposes all of the contrasting growth rings and the tree's original bark and sapwood serve as the outer edge. Using this method unfolds a totaly new spectrum of unique grain patterns to become visible such as limb roots and insect burrows which before we avoided as defects, but now can be features. These large diameter models are truely a beauty to behold, and are available in a limited quantity.
