Aromatic Cedar

Famous for its use in cedar chests, aromatic cedar is long known for deterring moths and other destructive insects. Cedar exhibits a smooth, rich redish brown color with almost white sapwood. Cedar is considered a softwood but this has not restricted its use for furniture. As in all our woods, we work to incorporate the unique sapwood highlights and curl that sets cedar apart from other woods.
